Girl Scouting is often a family tradition, passed down from mother to daughter. It’s a legacy we share and a sisterhood we all belong to… But it extends even further! We encourage family participation because we know everyone can learn something from Girl Scouts. Show your friends and family what it’s all about by inviting them to one of our community events.

Tied Together in Friendship and Love

Do you remember the last time you made a friendship bracelet? Whether it was this year or years in the past, you probably made it for someone who was very special in your life.

At Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, we are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity to dust off your bracelet making skills. This is also a council-wide service project!

We’ve partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the Cure to warm hearts in Hope Village. Hope Village is a special place exclusively where patients, survivors, and those living with Metastatic Breast Cancer can go on race day. It’s designed to be a community of love, hope, and shared experiences.

And that’s where you come in! Gather a group of friends or family and get creative making friendship bracelets! The bracelets will be passed out to patients and survivors in Hope Village at the race on May 20, 2023

You can also join us at GSOH Headquarters on January 21 for an epic friendship bracelet making party! Click here to register!

Need some help getting started? We created this fun how-to guide for making friendship bracelets.

Bracelets can be dropped off to Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Headquarters until April 17, 2023.
