Join us at the Make Zone!
A brand-new program space is opening for the 2018-2019 Membership Year at the Zanesville Service Center.
At the Make Zone, Girl Scouts of all ages can delve into the world of STEM through hands-on programming. Explore circuitry and electronics as you sculpt a work of art and then make it light up, build with wood and other materials at our Work Bench, program a robot to do your chores, make gadgets to solve household problems that are powered by code, and explore your own ideas in this maker space!
Bring the whole troop to the Make Zone for some open-ended discovery based on what you want to learn about, or complete troop projects. We’ll have a helper on hand to give you access to our equipment. You can reserve your spot by using CORA.
Register for these on CORA as an individual or with others in your troop; you will do a specific project based on the program topic. Each program will cover part of a Girl Scout badge or Journey.
