COVID-19

As COVID-19 continues to be of growing concern, Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland is regularly monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Controllocal state departments of health, and other partners.

In compliance with the Ohio Department of Health's stay at home order, our offices are closed to the public through Friday, May 29. Our staff is available via email, phone and other virtual means during this time.

Please note that July and August programming updates will be made available on or before June 1, 2020.

Day Camp

As of May 11, all regular day camp sessions have been canceled for 2020. We’ve spent time evaluating the guidance from the CDC, the Ohio Department of Health and our volunteers and decided that we need to make this decision to maintain the safety of our girls and community.

Options for current registrants are:

  • If you have already requested a refund for your registration, we will continue processing those requests.
  • If you have requested a transfer from June to a July or August session, we ask that you fill out this form and select from the available options (listed below) by Friday, May 29.
  • If you have not submitted any request, we ask you to respond by Friday, May 29 with your decision to:

o Get a full refund (this includes any bus fees, etc.).

o Transfer your funds to be used for Day Camp 2021 (with the option         to register a week before general registration opens).

o Donate your funds to Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland.

  • For any camp care kits that were ordered, you may keep them on order and pick up at a council office in July or request a refund on the same form
