What: Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland will host the 2025 State of the Girl event, an annual community conversation that shines a spotlight on the critical issues affecting Ohio girls.
This year’s event will feature the release of the 2025 Ohio State of the Girl report, a collaborative research effort commissioned by the four Girl Scout councils serving Ohio. The University of Cincinnati Evaluation Services Center contributed to the collection of secondary data provided in the report.
The report sheds light on some of the most pressing challenges facing Ohio’s girls. Key insights include:

Why: The 2025 Ohio State of the Girl Report is a first-of-its-kind collaboration among Ohio’s Girl Scout councils, including Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, Girl Scouts of Black Diamond, Girl Scouts of North East Ohio and Girl Scouts of Western Ohio. Its goal is to serve as a credible source of data across Ohio communities that will generate new efforts, actions, and investments to improve the lives of girls.
