The Volunteer of Excellence award recognizes those volunteers who
have contributed outstanding service to Girl Scouts of Ohio’s
Heartland. Anyone may nominate an outstanding volunteer who has
contributed to the success of a troop, service unit or other area
using the online form.
Criteria:
- The candidate must be an active Girl Scout adult
volunteer.
- The candidate must have completed the required
training for the position. (This will be checked by GSOH).
- The candidate must have performed beyond the expectations for
the position for which they are being nominated.
- Names and
contact information (full name, email, phone) for two individuals
who have reviewed or contributed to the nomination, support the
nominee, and are willing to provide any additional information as
needed to complete the nomination. They must also agree with the
outstanding service of the nominee.

Once the nomination is received it will be processed and returned to
the service unit for approval if needed and the pin distributed at a
service unit meeting.
