We know daily life can be busy and not everyone can occupy the traditional Girl Scout troop leader role. What You’ll Do
No matter how much time you have to spare, there are so many ways you can help girls grow into the courageous leaders the world needs! We have lots of opportunities within our programming that take our girls’ problem solving and critical thinking to the next level. You might:
- Demonstrate how programming can solve real-world problems as girls work through the Think Like a Programmer Journey
- Inspire girls to tackle important issues via our Coding for Good badges
- Help girls peek into their future as they earn their Career Exploration badge
- Teach valuable outdoor or leadership skills at one of our camps
Whether you spend an hour, a weekend, or a year with us, we’re excited to team up with you to deliver engaging opportunities that set girls up for a bright future!

GSOH Volunteer Committee
The Volunteer Committee is a team of dedicated Girl Scouts who can sign up to assist with all things Girl Scouts, including indoor and outdoor programming, Product Program, retail, administrative projects, and more!
Volunteer Committee members sign up for opportunities that fit their schedule and interests, and earn cool rewards along the way such as Girl Scout merchandise, camping gear, free tickets to events, and more! Volunteer Committee members are also invited to attend social events throughout the year, and connect with each other in our Facebook group.
Volunteer Committee members must be 18 years or older and a registered member of GSOH, but do not need to be affiliated with a troop.
