Spend a weekend learning more about backpacking and putting your
skills to the test with a hike and overnight. You'll meet at Camp
Beckoning Trails and spend a night in Marlie Lodge planning your meals
and packing - we'll provide most gear, like tents and packs, but you
can bring your own to practice if you have it! Then, you'll set out
for a hike with your pack on the beautiful trails of southwest Ohio.
You'll head back to camp to set up your tents at Rainbow's End where
you'll cook dinner and enjoy a night in the backcountry. Attend as a
solo participant or bring your troop and leaders. Adults who attend
must be registered, background checked Girl Scout volunteers.
There are a limited number of spaces available in council-provided van
transportation from Beckoning Trails to our nearby destination, or
your troop can provide your own transporation. You'll select the
option you prefer when you register!
