Did you know more than 100,000 Franklin County children from Kindergarten through 12th grade do not have all of the clothing they need for school? Charity Newsies ensures that children in need receive clothing for school, including a coat, hat, gloves, socks, underwear, pants and shirts. Your service project at Charity Newsies will involve learning about clothing insecurity, the impact of clothing on education and you will help us prepare clothing for distribution to children.
This program takes place on the North side of Columbus. Adults are required to register and attend this program in accordance with the Girl Scout adult-to-youth safety ratios. No late registrations will be allowed. Registration fee: $9/Girl, $5/Adult.
