The Columbus Metropolitan Library's Local History & Genealogy division are experts on the past and are ready to help scouts learn how girls and women of the 1800s lived, in Columbus and beyond. We'll play parlor games like the Victorians, learn the language of folded fans (and decorate our own!), explore period recipes, and practice our correspondence skills. Girls will complete all badge requirements for the 'Playing the Past' badge and receive their badge at the end of the program.
This program is for Juniors (Gr. 4-5). This program takes place in New Albany. Adults are required to register and attend this program in accordance with the Girl Scout adult-to-youth safety ratios. No late registration will be allowed. Registration fee: $6/Girl, $3/Adult.
