Girl Scouts will brainstorm ways robots can help at home or school and work together in teams to plan and design their own robots like real engineers. Brownies will dive into biomimicry - learning how robots imitate nature - and create prototypes that solve problems for people or animals. Meanwhile, Daisies will imagine what kinds of robots could assist them in daily life. Girls will learn about robot parts, plan their designs, and build 3D prototypes using recycled materials and craft supplies. After building, they'll share their robots and practice giving and receiving feedback. This fun, hands-on program supports earning the Design (Designing) a Robot badges for both levels, which are included. All adults must register and follow the required adult-to-girl ratios as outlined in the Safety Activity Checkpoints. This program takes place at the Zanesville Service Center. Registration fee: $9/Girl, $0/Adult.
