Join an expert from Nationwide Children's Hospital to learn about the state of youth mental health in the areas we serve at Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland. They will share how youth have been dealing with the stressors of the past few years and how those anxieties often manifest when they're in environments like camp. We will discuss how to manage some of these behaviors at camp, how identify potential risk factors for a child who may be struggling, and what to do if a child confides in you that they are struggling. The goal of this training is to help you feel more confident in your ability to help campers in the moment and get them the resources they need afterward.
