Ways to Give

At Girl Scouts, we believe that when girls succeed so does society. We provide girls with a place to discover their passions, find their voice and make positive impact in their communities. Girl Scouts are building a better world for all of us!

There are many ways to support Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland. Choose the ones that are right for you:

Ohio Girl Scout License Plates

After a 20-year absence, Girl Scout License Plates are in the state of Ohio again- and you have Troop 1275 to thank ! These Girl Scouts worked tirelessly for years to make this happen – enduring everything from contacting their local Representatives to working with all the Girl Scout councils in the state of Ohio to make it a reality.

Now you can support your local Girl Scouts by purchasing a Girl Scout branded license plate! $15 of every plate purchased goes back to the Girl Scout Council you live in, and you can share the wonderful impact of the Girl Scout mission by displaying it proudly on your car.

Purchase today by visiting the BMV's website and clicking on Organizational Plates!

Join us in dreaming big to fuel leadership opportunities for girls!

The vision behind why Girl Scouts was founded has remained the same since its founding in 1912—to redefine what is possible for girls everywhere. Girl Scouts has grown to nearly 2 million girl members with over 50 million Girl Scout alums throughout the world. We are building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

This is a $16M project, and we are currently working with community partners (public, private, etc.) to make this project a reality. We hope you will join us in dreaming big to fuel leadership opportunities for girls.

Cultural Assets Team

The Cultural Assets Team at Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland collects and preserves objects of a historical nature related to Girl Scouting and its members, especially in the council area, and promotes interest in and disseminates information about the history of Girl Scouting within Ohio, the country, and the world.

It is through your gifts that the Cultural Assets Team can fulfill its purpose. The committee is happy to accept gifts of any Girl Scout related items: uniforms, equipment catalogs, dolls, handbooks, newspaper articles, other publications, memorabilia from council events, etc. Your gifts will be well preserved, used or displayed for present and future generations of Girl Scouts.

If you have an item you would like to donate, you can email the team at history@gsoh.org.
